Ed Lally Foundation One Song Event 2026

An annual community benefit event hosted by the Ed Lally Foundation that brings together artists, musicians, and community members to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention through storytelling, creativity, and connection

Ed Lally Foundation One Song Event 2026

Serving as the Master of Ceremonies for the Ed Lally Foundation's Second Annual One Song event was an incredible opportunity to bring together my love of mental health, community, and meaningful conversation.

Throughout the evening, I interviewed visual and performing artists about the relationship between their artwork and their mental health, exploring how creativity can become a language for grief, healing, resilience, and hope. It was moving to witness each artist describe the deeply personal experiences that shaped their work and to create space for those stories to be heard by an audience of nearly 150 community members.

My role extended beyond hosting the event. I worked closely with the Foundation, board members, and artists leading up to the event to prepare for the conversations and help create an experience that felt authentic, thoughtful, and connected. Being part of an evening that encouraged open dialogue around mental health while celebrating the healing power of art reminded me how powerful storytelling can be in reducing stigma and bringing people together.
