Mango Marketing: Mango On The Mat 2025
I was honored to be the featured mental health speaker at Mango Marketing Co.'s Mango on the Mat, a wellness event designed for women entrepreneurs and business owners. I presented on burnout, nervous system regulation, and the importance of rest, exploring how burnout often develops gradually and becomes normalized within our achievement-driven culture. Through psychoeducation, visual presentation, and an interactive Q&A, I invited attendees to examine their own relationship with productivity, challenge societal narratives that glorify overwork, and begin cultivating a healthier, more sustainable relationship with rest. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with an inspiring group of women, including wellness practitioners, attorneys, authors, and business owners, who were committed to creating success without sacrificing their wellbeing.

Mango on the Mat is a wellness event designed to support women entrepreneurs and business owners by creating space to step away from the demands of work and reconnect with themselves through movement, education, and community. I had the opportunity to speak to approximately 25 women from a variety of professional backgrounds, including wellness practitioners, attorneys, authors, and business owners, who gathered to explore what it means to build a more sustainable relationship with success.
I developed and delivered an original presentation on burnout, the importance of rest, and the impact chronic stress has on the nervous system. Using visuals and interactive discussion, I explored how burnout often develops gradually, becoming so normalized that many people don't recognize it until they're emotionally, mentally, or physically depleted. We examined the cultural narratives that glorify constant productivity and achievement, and how those messages can make rest feel uncomfortable, unproductive, or even undeserved.
Through psychoeducation and an engaging Q&A, I invited attendees to honestly reflect on what burnout looked like in their own lives and challenged them to view rest not as something to earn, but as a biological and psychological necessity. Together, we explored how developing a healthier relationship with rest allows the nervous system to move out of survival mode, creating greater capacity for creativity, presence, resilience, and long-term wellbeing in both business and everyday life.
