Does This Sound Like You?

You look like you're holding it all together but...

  • Constantly overthinking.

  • Saying "yes" when you want to say "no."

  • Putting everyone else's needs before your own.

  • Feeling guilty when you prioritize yourself.

  • Running on stress, responsibility, and perfectionism.

  • Wondering why insight hasn't translated into lasting change.

Therapy can help you quiet the noise, trust yourself, and create a life that feels like your own.

How Therapy Can Shift Your Patterns

If you're struggling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, anxiety, or difficulty setting boundaries, therapy can provide the support, insight, and practical tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

At Peace In Perspective, I help adults throughout Maryland and Washington, DC uncover the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves. Together, we'll explore the beliefs, expectations, and coping strategies that have shaped how you move through the world.

Sometimes those patterns started with you. Often, they didn't.

You may discover that the anxiety you've carried for years was modeled by a parent. That your tendency to overwork was rewarded growing up. That people-pleasing became a way to maintain connection and avoid conflict. Or that the expectations you've spent years trying to meet were never truly your own.

Through evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and nature-informed therapy, we'll work to understand these patterns with compassion rather than judgment. From there, you can begin to challenge passed-down beliefs, release outdated expectations, strengthen self-trust, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Whether you're navigating a life transition, recovering from burnout, managing anxiety, or learning how to live more authentically, therapy can help you build a life that feels aligned with your values, not just the roles, rules, and responsibilities you've inherited.
